FEMA ‘Back to Business’ Workshop Set for Those Impacted by Storms
July 10th, 2011 | by Matew Dow |The Federal Emergency Management Agency will hold a “Back to Business” workshop on Thursday for those who were impacted by the natural disasters that hit Arkansas between April 14 and June 3.
Deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is Aug. 1, and Thursday’s free two-hour workshop will include experts from various government agencies who will be available to answer questions one-on-one.
The session will take place at the new EIT auditorium on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Agencies and programs represented will include FEMA Hazard Mitigation, the National Flood Insurance Program, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Arkansas Small Business & Technology Development Center, the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
