Employment Lawyer Scores in Buffalo Grove

Michael J. Shim and Nian C. Liu Shim bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath at 250 Stanton Court E. in Buffalo Grove from Kobe Falco and Stephanie Falco for $385,000 on Jan. 14.

The Falcos paid $460,000 for the property in June 2008. The 2,092-square-foot home in Buffalo Grove Central was built in 1988. It is located in the Old Farm Village subdivision.

Mr. Shim is a lawyer and the owner of Michael J. Shim Attorney at Law in Carol Stream. He specializes in employment law and bankruptcy law.

He is a graduate of the Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Mr. Falco has served as manager for partner services at Ingram Micro, a Santa Ana-based provider of technology products and supply chain services. He most recently was a consultant at EDI Specialists, Inc. Prior to that, he served as a technical manager at Midway Games and was a business analyst at Costco Wholesale.

He attended Palo Alto High School.

Mr. Shim previously sold his home at 9046 Meade Ave. in Morton Grove for $210,000 in July 1994.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 459 home sales in Buffalo Grove during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $242,500.
